Preface: My Action Portfolio is focused on the wiki. It is divided by individual class days where I include a title similar to what is on the prep sheet and a description of what is included. I link it to a new page that way each individual section has a page. I also add work that is accomplished in class like group posters or free writes as well as a page that has a list with links to online websites that can be used in the classroom. My pictures of posters are probably my favorite part of my Action Portfolio because they share some of what we have done in class!
Strongest Response Work: My strongest work came from week 6 and includes the "takeaway" from Chapter 3, a choice chapter, and exploration activity. I enjoyed the reading this day and it is reflected in my responses. (9/20) Link to page: Andrews LEA Text & Language Question Continued- HK
Most Challenging Work: My most challenging work for me was definitely during week 5. I had a difficult time focusing on the reading during this week because I had a lot on my mind; however, I definitely did my best work. The reading and responses took extra time and extra effort to complete, though. (9/13) Link to page: Teaching Grammar in Context-HK
Focused Response/Feedback: One project I had a hard time with was the Name Inquiry. I had a difficult time finding information out about my surname, so it would have been nice to have an opportunity to get more feedback on this. I have finally heard back from someone in my family who gave me a few links I could use, but I still feel like I didn't gain as much from this project as some of my classmates because I couldn't find much information!
